We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and busy team and are offering 15.75 hours per week as follows:

Monday 13.00- 18.15

Thursday 07.45- 13.00

Friday 07.45- 13.00

We would like to hear from candidates with excellent communication skills, who are cheerful, flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.

The starting salary is £11.44 per hour. We offer 6 weeks plus bank holidays pro rata annual leave and membership of the NHS pension scheme.

A brief overview of the role is shown below:-

Answering calls/speaking to patients at reception, effectively gathering information from patients to identify their needs;

Checking and dealing with emails - forwarding them as necessary to the appropriate department;

Using the clinical system to check and action tasks sent by clinical and admin staff;

Through training, become familiar with practice procedures and forms;

Acting as a chaperone for patients.
